I spent three incredible months here in Cusco!

I spent three incredible months here in Cusco. I discovered a very interesting and enriching new culture. Working for CCP is a great opportunity to train children and gain experience. Seeing their smiles and the pleasure they have in coming to training is enough to realize that the work we do is worth it. CCP is also like a family, we spend a lot of time together going out and traveling. It's an experience I'll never forget!

I loved the other interns who where there at the same time

My internship is done now. I got the chance to spend and live 2 months in this awesome country. I really like to live at different places, get to know the people and the culture and not just travel through them.

In these two months I learned a lot for myself. The kids in Cusco were just awesome. The hard court in the schoolyard where we trained our kids was just right next to a private green grassed sports field with a running court, volleyball nets, soccer, … It is crazy to see the differences here. That’s why it was even more crazy to see how happy and motivated the kids are! I saw even in those two months a lot of progress and I would love to come back one day to see them again!

Sony, the leader of the organisation, is giving everything for the kids. It’s not just the organisation he loves, he creates family! I loved the other interns who were there at the same time and for sure I will go to Cologne for a visit!

Besos a Peru! Hasta luego!

From start to finish I really enjoyed my time in Cusco.

From start to finish I really enjoyed my time in Cusco.
It was something completely different to the life in Germany, but worth it every second.
Sony and all the other interns made me feel welcome and were helping me immensely during my stay.
The work with the kids was so rewarding and seeing the progress that they’ve made over the last 10 weeks makes me unbelievably happy.
On top of all that it was possible to experience the beautiful and vibrant city of Cuzco, the amazing landscape of Perú and to learn the Spanish language.
I am very grateful for the wonderful experience and happy that I found many new friends there!

¡Espero qué nos veamos muy pronto en el futuro!

I also beacame part of the great CCP family.

To be part of Creating Champions Peru was an unforgettable experience that I will never forget. Working together with such motivated children and watching them how they become better with every passing day is quiet amazing.
During the two month of internship I did not just get to know the children better, but I also beacame part of the great CCP family. We spent so much time together while exploring the beautiful city Cusco and its sourroundings.
Not to forget Sony who really cared about me the entire time and who always helped me with any kind of problems.
Thank you for the great time and I hope to see you in Germany sometime 

I am thankful for letting me be a part of this project

In my 2 months in Cusco at Creating Champions Peru I made a lot of new experiences which will help me in my further life. I saw how difficult it is to develop sports skills here for these underprivileged children. But Creating Champions Peru are doing their best to help these talented and motivated kids to develop their sport skills to the top. I am glad that I could be a part of this project and could help the organisation in an important stage.

Together with Sony we picked out the most talented kids, designed a new scouting system, prepared a specific sports-concept and put this into practice. I hope the performance of the kids will evolve continuously the next years by this means and I am really looking forward to see the next steps of CCP. I wish Sony and CCP all the best to reach your aims.

Thank you for this amazing and unforgettable time in Peru. I am thankful with all the people of CCP for letting me be a part of this project and I am looking forward to see the progress of the kids and the organisation!

I could realize my own ideas

For me, CCP was not just an ordinary work place, it was a completely new experience between working, travelling and meeting new people. I could realize my own ideas and together with the other interns and it was fun to build up new concepts and creative ideas.

I was just 2 months there and time was running by so fast because you make new experiences every day and there is so much more to explore. I will really miss the funniest partys at Loki, the Andes with Alpacas and Lamas, the biggest Avocados I have ever seen and not to forget – Sony and the other interns.
Thanks for this cool internship!

I am thankful for letting me be a part of this project

I’m just done with my internship and I feel really sad about it. Being a part of this organization and meeting amazing people encouraging the sport development in South America was an amazing experience.

Sony, the organization’s director, is really nice and warm-hearted person from whom I learnt lots!

I am thankful with all the people of CCP for letting me be a part of this project and I am looking forward to see the progress of the kids and the organisation!

It is the perfect mixture of work and free time with enough possibilities not only to learn Spanish

Mr. Cueva told me from the beginning that Creating Champions Peru is different: „We are like a family – we work together, we live together and we spend a lot of our free time together.“ After my 6-month-internship at CCP I can definitely confirm that – it is the perfect mixture of work and free time with enough possibilities not only to learn Spanish but also to experience the Peruvian culture and to become a part of it. Thank you for the amazing time in Cusco!

Gracias for the great time 🙂

After two months is time to say goodbye to Cusco and the project Creating Champions Peru. I met wonderful people an learn at lot for me.

I saw the development of the children. That makes me happy. They practise intensive for their dreams.
Sony Cueva helps children with his sport program. With sport they get the chance to find themselves.
For me, as a table tennis player and coach, was important to see how the table tennis sport work outside Germany. Sony gave me the chance and I met nice table tennis players.

Gracias for the great time 🙂 !

Especially training with the kids was very instructive.

Wow, time is running so fast! I’ve spent three months in Cusco and it was a wonderful time. I’m very grateful for the opportunity and the experiences the internship gave me. It wasn’t just about work experience, but also life experience. I improved my Spanish, I got to know a new country and its culture, I made new friends and so much more.

Especially training with the kids was very instructive. Apply German training approaches and experiences to Peruvian kids was quite challenging, but also a lot of fun. To see how fast they were realizing and improving made me happy and satisfied. I can highly recommend to everyone doing an internship at Creating Champions Peru to improve your skills and have an unforgettable life experience.

What else I can say? Just thanks to everyone I’ve met there. It was such a great time, guys!

I wish I could have stayed longer

I spent 2 months in Cusco, Peru and you know what? I wish I could have stayed longer. It was an incredible time! Seeing the kids being successful, happy and motivated is one of the best things about the internship at CCP. At the same time, you get to discover an amazing culture, you improve your Spanish and you get to travel around Peru. And if you think it couldn´t get any better, you work together with Sony and the other interns who will become amazing friends, ones you will never forget. I am beyond grateful for the people I´ve met and the experiences I gained with Creating Champions Peru. Gracias por todo!

After two months in Cusco I can look back to an unforgettable time

After two months in Cusco I can look back to an unforgettable time. The combination of work and cultural experience makes this internship special!

On the one hand I felt as an important part of the CCP team or better say family. My tasks for the Marketing Department were varied, interesting and flexible. Besides it was great to support the Sports Department and help with the training and the tests we did in the school. There are so many young talents and to get the opportunity to encourage them to follow their dreams is a good feeling. In both departments I could help with my experience but also improve myself. To work together with Sony was easy. He always has new ideas but listen to our interns’ opinions and support them as well. His visions and persistence will always keep CCP alive.

On the other hand, the cultural experience couldn´t have been better. Exploring the land of the Inca, learning Spanish, trying cuy and other typical food, living with a Cusquenian family – all that teaches you so much about a different culture. In my 4 weeks of Spanish lessons I made good friends and, in the end, felt like family. Next to work and Spanish lessons was still enough time for travelling. Cusco is the perfect base for trips to Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Rainbow Mountains, Arequipa and so much more great places.

All in all, I don’t regret that I came to Peru and hope to come back someday. To be part of the kids improvement and of the development of the organization makes me proud and I wish Sony and CCP all the best for the future.

It was much more exciting than I could ever imagine

Working with Mr. Cueva and the other interns in this project was so much more exciting than I could ever imagine. I believe the kids taught me as much as I taught them and I am grateful for this challenging adventure. I arrived as a German intern in Peru and left as a friend already feeling a little bit Peruvian. See you soon…

Y gracias por esta locura!

I promise to come back

After 3 months, it was time to say good-bye. I learned not only many things about life, but also got a new family and friends. It became my second home and I am going to miss it a lot.

I gained lots of experience, particularly how to work in another culture with different mindsets. I was responsible for the Marketing department. My daily work included a wide range of tasks: Social Media, Marketing analysis, Brand designing, Internet researches, etc. I especially liked that I could work independently and gave my ideas free rein.
Despite of the short time, I felt like a part of Creating Champions Peru. Furthermore, I visited the training sessions of our kids to take some photos and to see their progress. It was a pleasure to see how they enjoyed the opportunity to get a free training with professional trainers.

I wish Sony and Creating Champions Peru all the best and I promise to come back. Therefore, it is not a good-bye rather than a see you later.

Thank you for this great time in Peru…Hasta luego!

I loved the other crazies!

I loved working at CCP. The first month of my stay I was working solemnly with Sony and besides working he really helped me to advance my Spanish skills. One of the things I appreciated most about this internship is that you can really state your opinion without having to fear any consequences. Even if you strongly disagree with a method you can express it and Sony will listen or discuss the topic until you decide on a solution.
Working with the kids was also great. I admire how CCP is teaching them some simple principles like arriving on time through the sports program. Also Sony really has a great sense of choosing the interns. We got along awesomely. I loved the other crazies. All in all I’m really happy that I was and am a part of Creating Champions Peru.

I had an amazing time in Cuzco! I learned so much!

I had an amazing time in Cuzco! I learned so much! Not only teaching sport skills and football specific stuff but also about the Peruvian culture and a complete new language.

I got to know new friends and the traveling on weekends was just breathtaking. Besides the nature in Cuzco is something you do not want to miss it.

CCP was taking its first steps and I had so much fun to help Sony in building it up. He is a great guy!

Especially teaching the kids advanced my knowledge

I had a great time in Cuzco during my internship! CCP has offered me great opportunities to connect being abroad and improving my spanish skills and work in my field of sports. Especially teaching the kids advanced my knowledge in the practical part of my future work.
During my time in the organization we were a lot of interns, so besides the internship we had great possibilities to explore Cuzco and it´s surrounding, especially on the weekends.
Finally i want to conclude that i´ve met many new friends and together with the internship i had an unforgettable time in Peru.
Thankyou for everything!
